Arrive in Beijing, the Capital city of China, your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Beijing
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

Our local tour guide will meet you at hotel lobby at an appointed time. Then you will start an exciting Beijing city highlight discovery. First we will move to Tian'anmen Square, which is the World's largest urban square. It is just a walking distance from Tian'anmen Square to the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. While visiting the Forbidden City, you will be inspired by this magnificent palace. Lunch is arranged at local restaurant for you. You will have chance to taste local Chinese food. After a short break, we will move to visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. The tour finishes by drop-off at your hotel. If you desire, Peking Opera is recommended to you as optional activity tonight(excluding price).

Day 3 Beijing - Chengde
Jinshanling Great Wall, Drive to Chengde

Today, we will travel from Beijing to Chengde. After breakfast, meet our guide at hotel lobby and check out from hotel. Then will start our trip forward to Chengde. After 2- hour driving(140km) , we will stop to visit Jinshanling Great Wall, which is one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall. Then we continue driving (90km) to reach Chengde, one of the premier historic and cultural cities of China.

Day 4 Chengde
Chengde Summer Resort, Putuozongcheng Temple

Chengde is famous for the Imperial Summer Resort. After a leisure hotel breakfast, guide will show you to enjoy a city tour first to the Imperial Summer Resort, which is originally built for the royal families of the Qing Dynasty to spend the summer months in its mild climate. In the early afternoon, we will take a visit to Putuo Zongcheng Temple, which is known as the little Potala Palace.

Day 5 Chengde - Beijing
Puning Temple, Drive back to Beijing

In the morning, you will take a visit to Puning Temple, one of the famous Eight Outer Temples in Chengde City, Hebei Province. Puning Temple was constructed in 1755 of the Qianlong reign. In order to celebrate the suppression of rebellion of Junggar tribe, Emperor Qianlong invited the four troops that participated in the suppression to the Mountain Resort in October in the 20th year of the Qianlong reign. He dubbed leaders of the four troops, and ordered to build Puning Temple.
After lunch, we will drive back to Beijing (256km) for overnight.
